Your SID is your Syndicator ID number; it is a number that we assign to each partner in order for us to be able to track your views and revenues more efficiently.

While the majority of our video content can be viewed globally, there is a very small portion that cannot be viewed outside of the U.S. due to rights and permissions. This message will show when one of these videos are attempted to be viewed from a non-U.S. IP address. By Using A Fallback Video: A fallback video is essentially a backup video that is relevant to your site?s general subject matter. In the case of 5min Media not having an exact video match to your contextual content, the PlayerSeed will play the fallback video, increasing the amount of pages the PlayerSeed is showing on and therefore, increasing impressions. You can add a fallback video by adding the following line of code: fallback=XXX. Simply add in the 5min Media VIDEOID of the video you wish to show as your fallback where the red X?s are in the parameter. By Re-Locating the Player?s Position: You may also choose to move the player closer to the content. The closer the 5min Media player is to the content, the more integrated the video is with the contextual content and will lead to more users engaged in the video increasing your impressions. For example, placing the player in the center column of your pages and above the fold will increase your conversions.
A companion banner is a standard 300 x 250 banner ad that runs in conjunction with a portion of our pre-roll ads. When a pre-roll that comes with a companion banner plays on your site, the banner must be shown on your site to enjoy the revenues. If there is not companion banner with the pre-roll, nothing will show in that space.
? You can adjust the location of the companion banner by adjusting the positioning parameter in the code of the banner. The positioning code is stated as follows: companionPos=XXX to dictate where you?d like the companion banner position to show, simply add in bottom, top, right, or left where the red X?s are in the parameter. The revenue in your "Daily Stats" is always an estimation that is based on pre-audited delivery on campaigns. Actual revenue earnings can only be found in the monthly reports which are published on the second week of the following calendar month. Since 5min Media runs many different campaigns simultaneously at any given time you will see some changes in the final numbers.
5min Media's payment schedule is on a monthly basis, net 45 days. Payment is executed only if a Partner?s monthly revenue reaches $100; otherwise revenue is accrued to the following month.
Payments can be made by check or ACH for companies operating within the United States, and check or wire transfer for international companies, according to your preference.
In order for your payments to be transferred on time you should fill in the 5min Media bank details form you received when you joined 5min Media as well as a W-9 or W-8 tax form.
In compliance with the IRS requirements, we are requesting all 5min Media partners to fill out a Form W-9 for American companies or Form W-8 for Non-US companies. Please complete the Form, if you haven?t done so already, and return to your account manager. Here are the latest versions of each of these forms from the IRS. You can also go to IRS.gov and search for the W-9 and W-8BEN forms. Please consult with your tax advisor to determine which form is appropriate for your company.

The matched views CPM is derived from the combination of pre-roll ads that run on your site. We run several different pre-rolls on our partners? sites that deliver different CPMs which cause the CPM to change. This CPM is then applied to your matched views to create your revenue.
Our sales team is currently focused primarily on monetizing U.S. views, as well as views in Canada, the UK and Australia. We expect to increase our monetization of international views in the coming months.
